The Apple Watch lookalike has a permanent loading wheel.
Famed Swiss watchmaker H. Moser has just released the Swiss Alp Watch Final Upgrade that brings the iconic Apple Watch design with a funny twist – it features a loading wheel commonly found on all Apple devices. Despite the obvious trolling its price is no laughing matter, since it costs $30,800.
On its website, Moser mentioned the main difference between a smartwatch and a real timepiece, saying that it doesn’t need to be updated or paired with a smartphone. “No updates required, no lousy autonomy, no unnecessary features, no annoying notifications, just the only reminder you ever really need: To disconnect from all the noise and cherish each and every moment,” the statement reads.
Over the years, Moser has been making similar timepieces that bear a similar resemblance to the Apple Watch. For the Swiss Alp Watch Final Upgrade, it will come with a Vantablack face that offers a real ‘true black’ darker than what most OLED panels offer. The loading wheel placed on the 6 o’clock position is actually the second hand and the rare materials that make up the actual hardware contribute to its exorbitant price tag.
Despite looking like Apple’s smartwatch, the Swiss Alp Watch Final Upgrade does look nice but you better hurry up in case you want one because only 50 pieces will be made and if you can afford the $30,800 price tag.
