With this box set, Loewe brings the runway to classic literature

As a collector of rare books and limited editions, this rather fashionable take on classics makes me very happy. In conjunction with its Fall Winter advertising campaign, Loewe has published a series of limited-edition literary classics. First revealed on the Paris runway of 2018 ready-to-wear show, the new Loewe books collection is now available for purchase. The Loewe Classics limited-edition book set features six timeless masterpieces, from Wilde, Cervantes and Stoker to Flaubert, printed in their original written language.

All books are issued as cloth-bound hardcovers featuring special sleeves adorned with iconic Steven Meisel images originally published as part of magazine fashion editorials. The vintage Meisel images have been repurposed for the book collection in a nod to the special ongoing collaboration between the house and the photographer.

The titles selected by creative director Jonathan Anderson for the box set include Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte,  Dracula by Bram Stoker, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde and Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert.

Produced in a limited run, the series —presented in an especially designed box— is now available globally at $595 in select international stores.
