It’s going to be called the 2018 V30.
LG has revealed that it will be introducing a new version of its V30 smartphone during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona this February. The new version will have improved features on the camera side, including a new AI feature that will let you give out commands through Google Assistant that is only exclusive to the handset.
There are 23 commands that initially came with the V30, and another 9 being introduced at MWC. This includes Panoramic Photo, Food Photo, Time-lapse Photo (Video), Slow-motion Video, Low-light Photo, AI Cam Photo, Image Search, Code Scanning and Shopping Search.
The AI feature on the camera will work just like the function that you can find on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro – LG will scan what it is seeing on the camera and will then compare it with a database and then recommend an appropriate setting for the camera so you can get the best shots.
But even if LG is saying that this is a 2018 V30, all of these upgrades are software-based, so there’s a very good chance that these features could come to previous models.
