3D Printing is now mainstream that Amazon has a store for it

July 31, 2014

They’ve just opened up a section on their website specific to 3D-printed materials.

3D printing may be one of the most revolutionary products to have come out in the past years and it greatly benefitted not only average consumers but on all other fields as well. It has become mainstream that 3D printers have begun popping up in stores in a more affordable price. In line with this trend, Amazon is launching a dedicated section that will cater to 3D printers and 3D printed products.

In a report by TechFaster, Amazon said that the 3D Printed Products store is “…a marketplace that gives customers access to more than 200 unique print on-demand products, many that can be customized by material, size, styles and color variations, and personalized with text and image imprints.”

You can choose from over 200 products ranging from 3D printed action figures to accessories. You can also customize products to your liking: create and design products that are made to order. The 200 product range may look less, but it should grow when there is more demand for it.
