Of course, there’s a shortcut for TikTok.
TikTok’s turning out to be the new Vine and while the app has found success with the younger crowd, its owner ByteDance is planning to release a smartphone using the Smartisan brand. The result is a $400 smartphone called the Jianguo Pro 3, which actually has some very impressive specifications.
The Jianguo Pro 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus CPU with a 4,000 mAh battery and even has a quad-camera setup at the back. This includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera for close-ups. Lastly, there’s also a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
It was also revealed that the smartphone has been planned for a while, even before ByteDance has acquired TikTok. As far as integrations go, TikTop will be preinstalled on the Jianguo Pro 3 and can immediately be accessed by swiping up directly from the lock screen so you can start using it.
At the moment, the Jianguo Pro 3 will only be a China-only smartphone but as the popularity of TikTok increases globally, especially here in the Middle East, there’s a good chance we might see a similar version on our region soon.
