Voice banking to launch with the popular voice assistant.
If you own an Amazon Echo, you can soon start listening to your account balance with Alexa. This is part of Emirates NBD’s Better Together program that enables Voice Banking solutions that are powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
With the Emirates NBD skill now available on Amazon Alexa, customers will be able to ask about their account and credit card balances and even inquire about recent transactions. You can converse naturally since Alexa supports the feature, along with the potion to listen to a daily curated summary of investments and other related news straight from the bank’s Chief Investment Officer.
Simply say, ‘Alexa, open Emirates NBD’ to start. The service will be available on all Amazon Echo speakers, Alexa-enabled headsets or through any smartphone using the Amazon Alexa app.
Emirates NBD says that this service utilizes APIs that are inline with open banking standards so it can easily provide the financial information that you need without any risk in security and privacy.
