Amazon is planning to release its own wireless earbuds
April 8, 2019

It will have Alexa built-in of course.

Amazon is also hopping on to the wireless bandwagon as rumors of the company making wireless headphones is looking to be true. It is mentioned that the AirPods competitor is scheduled to arrive later this year, and will, of course, have Alexa built-in similar to what Apple’s AirPods can do.

While no exact details were revealed, Amazon’s plan is to make their version offer superior audio quality. The wireless headphones will also have its own charging case, along with the ability to be paired on either an iOS or Android device.

With Alexa built right inside the headphones, you can use it to search across Amazon’s database of products that you can easily order right away. It will also, of course, be compatible with Amazon’s own music and movie services so you can also use Alexa to watch a movie or listen to your favorite playlist.

Amazon has already gotten a decent following with its current line of Echo smart speakers, which makes sense if they would to expand its audio hardware line. Given that the Echo speaker line comes in an affordable price point, expect their wireless headphones to be priced lesser than Apple’s AirPods.
