Upgraded specs at an affordable price.

While many iPhone users already use their devices for music, some still prefer a dedicated music player – which is why Apple is still offering the iPod touch as an alternative. This new generation of the iPod touch now features the A10 Fusion chip that increases its performance in games and apps including immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences.

“We’re making the most affordable iOS device even better with performance that is twice as fast as before, augmented reality starting at just AED 849,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Product Marketing. “The ultra-thin and lightweight design of iPod touch has always made it ideal for enjoying games, music and so much more wherever you go.”

That’s right, the iPod touch’s price starts at only 849 AED for 32 GB, 1,269 AED for 128 GB and 1,689 AED for 256 GB – that’s millions of songs that you can literally fit in your pocket with room for apps and games as well. You can also take subscribe to Apple Music that gives you access to millions of songs, albums and playlists and even access to Beats 1 Radio.

The new iPod touch is now available to order at apple.com and will be available in six colors including space gray, white, gold, blue, pink and a special Product Red variant.
