There are a plethora of messaging apps available on smartphones at the moment and at times, you’re just lost as to what is the platform that is the best one to use. While most of these apps are being dominated by big apps like WhatsApp, Snapchat or Facebook Messenger, new messaging apps try to distinguish themselves by offering a very unique feature.

One such app is EM, which was made by WhosHere – a company that specializes in making smartphone messaging apps. EM is cross-platform so you can basically use it on any device. EM supports the normal messaging capabilities like sending text, images and video but a few of its features is what makes this messaging app stand out.

One feature is the Take It Back option, which lets you delete the message from the receiver’s smartphone. It does not matter if the device has not been read or not, once you delete it from your side, it will be gone on the receiver’s smartphone.

EM is also introducing AKAs – a way for you to create a fake profile that you can use to anonymously chat with others without having to give personal information. You can also easily delete the profile once you are done using it.

EM is now available for free at the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store and is available in 15 languages.
