Beats Music is joining the iTunes Radio family

August 4, 2014

Beats Music CEO, Ian Rogers, will be heading iTunes Radio.

If you recall, last September, iTunes Music was launched and then took the number three spot among the top music streaming services in the United States in March.

Replacing Spotify’s position on that list isn’t the only thing that proved the company’s climb to the top of the music scene. iClarified has reported that after acquiring Beats Music and Beats Electronics, Apple recently released a welcoming statement over the weekend:

“Today, we are excited to welcome Beats Music and Beats Electronics to the Apple family. Music has always held a special place in our hearts, and we’re thrilled to join forces with a group of people who love it as much as we do.”

The choice of having Ian Rogers run iTunes Radio in parallel is based on having a cohesive partnership smoothed.

Currently, you can find some Beats products for sale in the Apple Store and should expect more in the future.
