An evolution of the original Bose Revolve speaker.

Last year, Bose treated us with the Revolve, a portable speaker that offered 360-degree sound. We praised the Revolve’s performance on our review, and this year we’re seeing an evolution of that speaker in the form of the Bose Portable Home Speaker.

Evoking the same design aspects as the Revolve, the Bose Portable Home Speaker offers a simple way to bring your tunes anywhere, anytime. It features the same 360-degree sound along with improved bass and supports 12 hours of battery life.

The Bose Portable Home Speaker’s primary connection is Bluetooth, instantly making it compatible with nearly any device. But audiophiles know that Bluetooth doesn’t deliver the best music quality, hence the Bose Portable Home Speaker also supports music streaming through Wi-Fi. This means you can use AirPlay 2 to output sound from your iOS device straight to the Bose Portable Home Speaker. It can also use Spotify Connect, along with support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

The Bose Portable Home Speaker will come in two colors: Triple Black and Luxe Silver and pre-orders will start on September 19th for 1,449 AED. The speaker is expected to launch this October.
