Update to roll out soon.
Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are undoubtedly one of the best Android smartphones available despite various issues plaguing the device. From a washed out display to other hardware faults, it looks like its facing another problem – a few users have reported buzzing or hissing sounds coming from their Pixel 2 smartphones.
The hissing and buzzing sounds seem to happen when they are making calls. Some users managed to get their units replaced, but it looks like the same problem still persists.
But Google immediately said that it is already issuing a software update to fix the constant hissing sound. “We’re rolling out a software update in the coming weeks which eliminates a faint buzzing sound on some Pixel 2 devices when the phone is placed to your ear during a phone call,” a community manager from Google said in a statement from an interview with The Verge.
Let’s hope it’s the last of the problems facing Google’s new flagship device. After all, many consider to be one of the top smartphone choice available at the moment.
