GoPro Hero7 leaks with three variants

September 20, 2018

Comes in three versions: Black, Silver, and White.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from GoPro especially after rumors of the company’s lower-than-expected profits were reported after the demise of its Karma Drone. Still, that isn’t stopping the company from introducing new versions of its devices, particularly the action camera brand. As posted by B&H Photo, GoPro is planning to launch three new variants of the Hero7: Black, Silver, and White.

As expected, the Hero7 Black will be the high-end version that can shoot 4K video at 60 fps. It will feature HyperSmooth image stabilization for shake-free videos. Additional shooting options include 2.7K at 120 fps or 1080p at 240 fps aka slow-motion. You can also capture images in RAW format along with stereo audio recording.

The Hero7 Silver will be the mid-range version that will come with a 10-megapixel sensor along with support for 4K video recording at 30 fps, 1440p at 60 fps and 1080p at 60 fps. The entry-level Hero7 White will only shoot 1080p video at 60 fps.

It was also mentioned that the Hero7 Black will have support for connecting external microphones along with a removable battery (the Silver and White versions won’t have removable batteries).

The entire Hero7 line is waterproof up to 33 feet and will have a 2-inch touchscreen display plus voice control support.

More details should be revealed once GoPro officially announces the Hero7.
