Well, it was time the humble monopod got a total rewrite. Moza have just announced the Slypod Pro Now, a motorized monopod that combines the sliding movement of a slider, the lifting movement of a jib arm and the Moza Master App for precise motion control. The world’s first electronically adjustable monopod, the the Slypod Pro can be controlled with just one hand, letting you electronically change the length of a monopod using built-in controls or a smartphone.

The end result is super smooth transition effects using the motorized power of the Slypod Pro, one that’s much complemented by the Slypod Pro’s ability to extend 1.5 times its length to push the camera in towards a subject dynamically. To top it all, the Slypod Pro’s new folding tripod base is strong enough to handle angles up to 60 degrees for photos and videos.

With the Slypod Pro, the promise is simple enough – lost moments are a thing of the past. The slider and jib arm can be placed at any angle and camera position, enabling previously impossible angles. The Moza Master app is key to the equation, as it enables enable total control of the monopod via your smartphone to operate the motorized slider, perform precise movements at variable speeds and pre-program movements so users can concentrate on creativity instead of setup.
