Seagate is also announcing a rebranding of the company.
Seagate has been one of the prominent leaders in storage solutions for the past year. At this year’s CES 2015, the company is announcing a corporate rebranding that include a new logo that showcases data as a ‘living, vibrant thing’.
Seagate’s chairman and CEO Steve Luczo said that Seagate’s brand “…is a powerful representation of the total commitment that Seagate is making to help businesses and consumers realize the full potential of ‘living’ data.”
In line with this, the company is introducing new hard drives to its product lineup that includes the Seagate Seven drive, which is dubbed as the world’s thinnest portable hard drive (it’s only 7 mm thick) along with other products like the Seagate Wireless and the Seagate Personal Cloud.
Additionally, LaCie, which is Seagate’s premium brand, is also releasing the LaCie Mirror – a hard drive designed by Pauline Deltour that looks more as an excellent piece of décor rather than a hard drive. Additionally, the LaCie Rugged RAID hard drive was also updated to deliver a faster performance and more storage options for users who need it.
