August 14, 2014

The Consumer Electronics Association just announced that the 2015 International CES (to take place January 6-9 in Las Vegas, Nevada) is to increase the Gaming marketplace.

Mobile gaming to PCs and consoles will be showcased along with hardware, software and accessories related to gaming.

With an estimated 14,500 net square feet of exhibit space to be covered by the gaming sector at next year’s show, it marks a thirty percent increase in space. Gaming geeks can start grinning.

Senior Vice President, International CES and corporate business strategy, Karen Chupka, stated, “The Gaming Marketplace at the 2015 CES will showcase the full spectrum of gaming innovations, and provide a unique opportunity to glimpse into the future of this immersive industry.”

Expect to see the likes of Oculus Rift, Snail Games, Virtuix, Occipital, DX Racer and more.

Along with gaming, the 2015 CES is to feature an additional 19 types of Marketplaces, each specific to a category.

Located in the Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center (LVCC), the CES Tech East will host the Gaming Marketplace in South Hall 2.
