Made for gamers.

LG today has just announced the launch of the UltraGear 27GN950, known as the world’s first 4K IPS 1-millisecond Gray-to-Gray (GTG) gaming monitor. Winner of the 2020 CES Innovation Award and Red Dot Design Award, the monitor features stunning speed and accuracy without compromising image quality.

Immersive is the one thing that the 27GN950 offers, which is achieved through a combination of speed, high resolution, and a 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The 27GN950 is also capable of displaying lossless 4H UHD images in 10-bit color along with the 144Hz refresh rate that’s perfect for gaming all using a single DisplayPort cable.

The LG UltraGear 27GN950 also has the VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification that delivers the best level of color quality and accuracy. There’s also support for Nvidia G-Sync for the best gaming experience.

“We are excited to bring NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support to LG’s most advanced UltraGear model yet,” said Kaustubh Sanghani, vice president, and general manager, GeForce OEM at NVIDIA. “Gamers will be blown away by the responsiveness and the lifelike visuals when playing the latest PC games that feature real-time ray-tracing powered by GeForce technology.”

The LG UltraGear 27GN950 is the first monitor in the series to sport the new ‘wings’ emblem. The monitor is expected to release in September.
