E3 is almost drawing to a close and some major games that were announced at the show. Here are some of the biggest reveals from Ubisoft, Disney and Nintendo.
Kingdom Hearts 3
Square Enix finally revealed Kingdom Hearts 3. While not much was revealed, the company said that the game is still in development so we might have to wait for a while before the game launches. Seeing as Disney now owns Marvel and Lucasfilm, expect an appearance by your favorite Marvel characters and Star Wars characters.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will be available for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands
Tom Clancy favorite Ghost Recon is back with a new game that features a new open world gameplay that lets you do massive shootouts on drug cartels.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate
Assassin’s Creed is back with a new chapter called Syndicate that takes place during the Industrial Revolution in London. Just like the previous games, expect a lot of bloody combat and rooftop running.
South Park: The Fractured but Whole
I surprisingly enjoyed South Park: The Stick of Truth even if I wasn’t a fan of RPG. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced that they will be making a sequel to the game titled South Park: The Fractured but Whole that comes out next year. Bonus points if you get subtle hint on the title.
Another Tom Clancy game was introduced in the form of The Division that takes you on another survival first person shooter experience. The game will launch on March 8, 2016 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. A beta program is scheduled before the year ends.
Violent battles between Vikings and Samurais is the main focus of For Honor. While not much was revealed, it simply stated that the game wants to pit you in the middle of the battle, letting you feel every hit that you take when in combat.
Mario Maker arrives on September 11 and it will let you create your own Super Mario levels. An accompanying Amiibo will also be released to accompany the game.
Nintendo and Skylanders
Nintendo has just announced a partnership with Activision that will see Nintendo-themed Amiibos (those small action figures you use to play games) come to the Skylanders game for WiiU.
Gameplay footage was shown for the upcoming game Starfox Zero for the WiiU that includes excellent space battles using a plethora of vehicles.
The Legend of Zelda: TriForce Heroes
A new game for the 3DS features a multiplayer game based on the spinoff Four Swords. The game would require you to fight through the dungeons along with solving various puzzles.
Metroid Prime Federation
The newest installment of the Metroid Prime Federation will see the player engage in four player co-op missions in various sci-fi sports battles.
Yoshi’s Woolly World
If you’re up for something cute then Yoshi’s Woolly World might be for you. The game is a new platformer for the WiiU that includes a Yoshi character made of yarn that puts you in a world made of well, yarn. The game launches October 16th.
Anything with Mario is definitely worth playing. Here we have a first look at Mario Tennis, which promises lots of Mario-filled mayhem. The game launches this holiday season.
