Square Enix has also released the first look.
Even as Square Enix is supposed to have its own keynote during E3, it has already dropped the trailer for the much-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake. The trailer premiered during A Symphonic Reunion, which is a concert featuring Final Fantasy VII music that was held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
The game was first teased in 2005 as a tech demo and was confirmed to be an official game in 2015. Fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as Square Enix announced the release date to be on March 3, 2020.
Additionally, many pointed out that at the end of the trailer there’s only a PlayStation logo and no Xbox logo, there’s a good chance that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be a PS4 exclusive.
They did say more will be revealed during Square Enix’s keynote. For now, enjoy the awesomeness of Final Fantasy VII by watching the trailer below.
