Plus all the games Microsoft has announced.
Microsoft didn’t hold back in announcing new games that’ll arrive this year until the next. From expected sequels to surprising cameos, here are some of the top games announced during Microsoft’s E3 keynote.
Gears 5 has been confirmed to release on September 10th and will continue the story of Kait Diaz. The game will also launch with a new mode called Escape where you and your team must plant a bomb inside a hive and get out before time runs out. Gears 5 will also launch on Xbox Game Pass so it’s a good reason to subscribe. You’ll also get access to a special Terminator Dark Fate Character Pack if you buy or play the game before September 16th.
The next chapter in the titular Halo saga brings back Master Chief with guns blazing. While it’s designed to be an open-world version of the Halo universe, expect the same action that made it one of the best games on the platform.
Unfortunately, we may have to wait for its release date, since Microsoft has revealed that Halo Infinite will be a launch title for the upcoming Xbox console, Project Scarlett.
CD Projekt Red’s open-world game is one of the company’s most anticipated games. While you might have to wait a while to get the game (it releases April next year), everyone lost their minds when Keanu Reeves showed up in the trailer, confirming his involvement.
A horror game based on the Blair Witch movie? Yes, please! The trailer evokes the same eerie experience showcased by the found footage film, and we can’t wait to play it.
If you like fantasy epics like Game of Thrones and The Lord of the Rings, then you should be excited to see Elden Ring – still not convinced? The game is a product of George R.R Martin and FromSoftware, best known for the Dark Souls games.
Microsoft Flight Simulator
The last Flight Simulator game launched more than five years ago and it’s great that a new game is coming next year. Launching on the PC, expect to fly jets, planes in what Microsoft says is an ‘incredibly realistic world’.
The Outer Worlds
The RPG is reminiscent of the setting for Fallout – and that’s not an entirely bad thing. The game launches on October 25th.
Developer Hellblade brings this new action game fresh from the success of Dmc.
The popular game gets a new spinoff with a rather interesting trailer. The game launches next spring.
The classic game gets revived in this awesome new trailer – though no release date has been announced.
