A whole new level of collaboration.

If you’re planning to go to GITEX Technology Week, then you should definitely check out Microsoft’s stand. Aside from seeing various technologies that it has on a demo, it also showcased its current line of Surface devices that are available in the UAE.

The Surface Hub 2S also makes its official debut at GITEX Technology Week. The 50-inch powerhouse combines all the best features of earlier Surface Hubs into one compact collaboration solution.

“We designed Surface Hub 2S with the region’s teams in mind,” said Mirna Arif, Surface Business Group Director at Microsoft Middle East and Africa. “With the latest addition to our Surface family, we have built a bridge between the digital and physical workspaces, in deference to how the nature of work continues to evolve. The modern workplace demands more from employees and cross-skilled teams collaborating continuously has become the new norm.”

Surface Hub 2S also includes all the powerful software tools from Microsoft: Windows 10, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, Microsoft Whiteboard and Microsoft Cloud. A demo of a connected home and office using Microsoft devices can be seen at their stand at GITEX Technology Week.

Specs-wise, the Surface Hub 2S packs in faster graphics performance along with a thinner bezel. It’s lighter as well and can now easily fit into any space. There’s also an option to mount the Surface Hub 2S on a Steelcase Roam Mobile Stand and an APC Charge Mobile Battery so you can easily bring the device to any location.

Pricing for the Surface Hub 2S starts at 34,870 AED and will include one Surface Hub 2 Pen along with a Surface Hub 2 Camera.

We also asked Microsoft about the recently announced Surface devices that include the Surface Pro X and while they don’t the devices on display, Microsoft did say that it’s coming to the UAE early next year.
