There’s Dark Mode coming too!

During Facebook F8 developer’s conference, the company has announced that the popular social networking site will have a redesigned look. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg detailed the changes, which he says will bring a faster and simpler experience.

Groups will also have a redesign, which will now have more discovery tools for seeing recommendations on new groups along with an easier way to share content from your News Feed to your group. There will also be new features coming to specific types of groups – gaming groups, for example, will have a chat feature while Buy and Sell groups will be getting an option where customers can ask questions or place orders during live broadcasts. Facebook also announced that its Messenger app is coming to macOS, along with support for Dark Mode.

Facebook Dating is also being introduced, which is exactly what you thought it would be. The dating service lets you find a date through your mutual friends or other groups. At the moment, it’s available in the following countries: Colombia, Thailand, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Guyana, and Suriname.

Facebook also emphasized its stand on privacy, despite earlier problems that were faced by the company regarding the topic. The new features will start rolling out today on mobile and after a few weeks on desktop.
