For streaming services like Deezer, a white background in the apps is a given. Given the regularity of access, sadly that doesn’t ode well on your eyes when you navigate playlists in the dark.
Deezer have now announced its new dark mode for Android users. The feature lets users switch from their normal light music player to a dark grey background. Reduced digital eye strain in poor light and improved text readability are key benefits here. Dark mode users can also customize their visual experience by choosing an all-over dark background or keep the colorful version that is also available on bright mode. Users that choose to keep the vibrant background will notice the color dynamically change to match the artwork of every track that is being played.
To enable the feature, simply head to Settings, Display and choose Dark Mode on the App.
Deezer’s dark mode is available from today and can be used by Free and Premium users on Android devices and the Deezer website. Deezer’s Dark Mode on iOS and the Deezer desktop app will be available in the next few weeks.
