Finally, the iPhone 6S/6S Plus will have 2 GB of RAM

And the iPad Pro will have a massive 4 GB of RAM.

Following the announcement that of a plethora of new Apple devices, it has been confirmed that the new iPhone 6/6S will have 2 GB of RAM along with the iPad Pro having 4 GB of RAM.

The confirmation came from Twitter user Hamza Sood.

Despite previous iOS devices having just 1 GB of RAM, it still managed to outperform competitors thanks to how iOS programmed.

The addition of more RAM in iOS devices will prove beneficial especially with the introduction of new multitasking capabilities that come with iOS 9.
