Keeping people safe by giving them ample warnings.

The government of France has just released a new mobile app for its citizens and residents that will alert the in the case that a terrorist attack takes place.

This new approach to security is called SAIP, which is a free app that you can download on iOS and Android devices.

The app was developed right after the terrorist attacks that took place last November 13 and it will alert users using geolocation just in case something happens. Additionally, it can also let the user know of other alerts to other locations close to theirs. Notifications will include announcements, a description of what happened as well as other information on how to stay safe.

In terms of privacy, no information will be collected and you simply need to install the app and be notified.
