Suite connects to MapMyRun app

Under Armour recognizes that one size does not fit all, and their UA HOVR running shoes comes in a suite of variants, with each shoe being optimized for a different kind of runner. In addition to creating a footwear solution for every kind of run, the new UA HOVR suite is digitally connected, with a high- fidelity sensor in the midsole of the right-footed shoe that digitally connects seamlessly to the MapMyRun app via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The sensor is fully protected from the elements and will last the lifetime of the shoe without needing a charge. This simple, seamless connection allows the UA HOVR shoes to track a variety of metrics and data on your run, including distance, pace, splits, cadence, stride length, and lifetime distance.

So onto the five different running shoes that make the Under Armour HOVR run suite for Spring 2019:

The UA HOVR Infinite (now available) is the foundation and anchor of the UA HOVR Run footwear suite. As a neutral cushion, plush balanced-trainer, the shoe is called the UA HOVR Infinite because it was created for distance training and to provide the runner with a consistent underfoot feel through an infinite number of miles. Prices start from AED 629 for both men and women.

The UA HOVR Guardian (now available) is a stability shoe named for its unique ability to help manage over-pronation. With DNA similar to the UA HOVR Infinite, the UA HOVR Guardian is built for long distance training. Prices start from AED 629 for both men and women.

The UA HOVR Velociti 2 (launching in April) is a tempo trainer, providing the runner a smooth, light and snappy ride. The shoe is an evolution from the original Velociti model and has been updated with the HOVR cushioning platform. Prices start from AED 549 for both men and women.

The UA HOVR Sonic 2 (now available) is the perfect blend of cushion and flex and is all about the smooth & easy ride. Feature updates from the original HOVR Sonic include an enhanced cushioning of the tongue for more lockdown over the top of the foot. Prices start from AED 559 for both men and women.

The UA HOVR Phantom SE (now available) is the “sport edition” of the Phantom Series, that features improved breathability and a more anatomically shaped collar, while maintaining the luxury ride feel of the plush 3D moulded foot-bed and midfoot structure. Prices start from AED 699 for both men and women.
