Here’s what’s new.

Microsoft has announced that it is rolling new updates to the Xbox One X and the Xbox One S soon. These new features aren’t just performance enhancements, but could possibly let you enjoy your games more especially with the right hardware.

One of these features is support for AMD Freesync monitors. Gamers who play on special gaming monitors that support AMD Freesync can now play games with no issues like tearing and stuttering. Additionally, support for 1440p resolutions on the Xbox One X will make them enjoy it even more since most of these gaming monitors use that as a default.

Another new feature is support for low latency mode on newer TVs. If your TV supports it, it will automatically turn on game mode where image processing will be turned off to lower lag times.

These updates are planned to roll out in the next couple of months.
