Street Fighter characters to debut on the popular battle royale game.

Fortnite is about to gain new characters in the form of Chun-Li and Ryu. The Street Fighter icons are the latest to join the increasing roster of characters that you can play on the battle royale game. Both Chun-Li and Ryu will be available for purchase on Fortnite’s in-game shop.

Chun-Li and Ryu will be joining God of War’s Kratos and Halo’s Master Chief as some of the popular video game characters to be available on Fortnite. This, along with tie-ups from existing franchises like Tron, Marvel, The Walking Dead, and even Star Wars has proven to be popular amongst players of Fornite.

Both characters were said to ‘join the hunt’ which is part of the events made for the fifth season of Fortnite. This is in line with the current plot where an Agent Jonesy was tasked to recruit characters from different dimensions to join in-game events.

Fortnite is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
