Free Fire Arab League to run between June and September.
Garena has just announced two online tournaments that will see various teams in the Middle East and North Africa region battle for the prize in the Free fire Arab League, which debuted earlier this year.
The second tournament will take place from June 13 to September 26, where 24 teams will get to win a slice of the $39,400 prize money. Garena will also be offering appearance fees to the gamers, which is a first-of-its-kind to be introduced in the MENA eSports industry.
The 24 teams for the Free Fire Arab League will be divided into six groups and the winners will automatically advance to the Grand Finals on September 26. The 12 second and third-placed teams will have another opportunity to book one the 12 final berths by competing in the Best of 8 matches in the play-offs.
Along with that, Garena will also launch the first Free Fire Arab Clash War this month with a prize fund of $10,000 along with exclusive prizes. Registration for the tournament will take place from June 13 to 15 with 896 teams and qualifying rounds set to begin on June 19.
As the first eSports tournament utilizing the Clash Squad format, the qualifying rounds for the Free Fire Arab Clash War tournament will be held from June 19 to 26, followed by the playoffs on July 3 to 8 and Final Stages on July 17. The Semi-Final and Grand Final is scheduled for July 24 and August 1.
