Free Fire’s flagship international tournament for 2020.
Garena has officially announced the Free Fire Continental Series (FFCS) that will be the first international tournament for this year. The first all-virtual series will be bringing together all the top Free Fire teams in the world as they compete for the world’s best players all without leaving their homes.
FFCS will be taking the place of the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) and will still continue the efforts of Garena to keep its fans engaged with various competitions. Along with that, Garena will also offer various activities for Free Fire players that include in-game events that will lead up to the launch of FFCS.
FFCS will come in three regional tournaments, all of which will be held simultaneously. The three regional tournaments are Free Fire Americas Series that include the Brazil and LATAM servers, the Free Fire Asis Series that include Chinese Taipei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, and other markets in the same region, and lastly the Free Fire EMEA Series that covers the whole Middle East, North Africa, and Russian region.
The regional tournament will commence on November 21st with a Grand Final on November 28th/29th. The total prize pool amounts to $300,000 along with the title of the world’s best Free Fire team. All regional tournaments will be battling over 6 rounds across 3 maps (Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari).
