Ultra-difficult setting for seasoned players.
Ghost of Tsushima is already breaking records and is already considered to be one of the best games on the PlayStation 4. The sweeping samurai epic has topped the charts since its release and gave the PlayStation 4 one more breath of success considering that the next-generation PlayStation 5 is releasing by the end of this year.
But developer Sucker Punch isn’t done with the game – in fact, it is rolling out a new update for Ghost of Tsushima that will include a new ‘Lethal’ difficulty mode. A notch higher than the hard level already present in the game, Lethal will now be the game’s most challenging option.
Lethal will have more powerful weapons and enemies – but it also means that your character Jin will also be upgraded. A fair match when you start your battles. Sucker Punch did say that the enemies will be far more aggressive, including that ability to detect you faster so you better plan those moves in a smarter way.
There is also a new ‘Lower Intensity Combat’ that the developers say “meant to maintain the heart and feel of Ghost of Tsushima combat while relaxing several timing-specific elements.” It says that turning on this feature will make combat less intense, and stealth settings give you more time before enemies can spot you.
More details about the new update are available here. The update should automatically be installed once you turn on your PS4.
