All thanks to Game Boost.
Developer Sucker Punch just announced that its recent Ghost of Tsushima will be ready to play on the PS5 on day one as a backwards compatible title. Additionally, those playing on the PS5 can take advantage of Game Boost that will allow the game to run at 60fps.
Considering that the game itself is already great to look at, the increased frame rate is also a welcome addition especially for those who want to play the game on the new console. Additionally, loading times will be faster and your game saves from the PS4 can be carried over to the PS5 so you can continue your gameplay.

The announcement was made as part of Sony’s own announcement that the PS5 will support 99 percent of PS4 games through backward compatibility. Only 10 games were highlighted that wouldn’t be compatible with the console.
When Ghost of Tsushima was released, it offered graphics options on the PS4 Pro that let you choose between playing with a higher resolution or a more stable performance. With the PS5, it looks like you can take advantage of both enhancements.
The PS5 is scheduled to be released on November 12 in select countries including the US, followed by the UAE and the rest of the Middle East on November 19.
