Sucker Punch’s canceled game ‘Prophecy’ leaks online

Explore dark catacombs in a Medieval setting.

Sucker Punch is already riding high with the success of Ghost of Tsushima, where it brought an incredible open-world samurai epic that is now considered to be one of the best PS4 games. But just yesterday, footage from a canceled game called Prophecy leaked online and highlights what could have been another great game from Sucker Punch.

The footage was first made available on which was then uploaded into different websites. You can out the footage here before it gets taken down. Prophecy looks like another open-world game where you have to explore catacombs in a Medieval setting.

Sucker Punch released Infamous Second Son as one of the launch titles for the PlayStation 4 in 2014 and with Ghost of Tsushima releasing in 2020, Prophecy was probably conceived somewhere in between. Sucker Punch hasn’t made a statement about the Prophecy at the time of this writing, but we’re certainly curious to know what made them ditch production on the game.
