New features and improved performance.
The new generation of action cameras from GoPro has just been announced – the Hero 8 Black and MAX 360 both feature a plethora of improvements that still proves the brand is here to stay.
Nearly everything on the Hero 8 Black has been improved: HyperSmooth 2.0, LiveBurst, TimeWarp 2.0 and better HDR. Even the GoPro mount is now part of the camera so there is no need to purchase a separate frame. Just in case you don’t want to use the mounts, it can be tucked away so it doesn’t get in the way.
Along with that, GoPro has also introduced new accessories to accompany the new camera in the form of new mounts and microphone inputs which is perfect for vloggers. There is even a light mod that’s perfect for taking shots underwater.
The Hero 8 Black is able to shoot at 4K 60 fps at a 100 Mbps bitrate (just think super clear videos), 1080p at 240 fps for slow-motion videos. The camera can now stream at 1080p, compared to the Hero 7 Black that can only do it at 720p.
The GoPro Max 360, on the other hand, brings in a 16.6-megapixel sensor that can shoot 5.6k 30 fps video along with the flexibility to change the field of view according to your liking.
