February 15, 2017

Bringing you first of its kind Arab emoji app, Halla Walla, to say what you want in a quirky Arabic way.

A new keyboard and emoji app has just been introduced that aims to capture the best of Arab and Khaleeji lifestyle. Called ‘Halla Walla’, the app includes various stickers and emojis that can help bring traditions in a modern world. Halla Walla roughly translated means ‘What’s up?’

Yasmine Rasool, Co- founder of Halla Walla said that she wanted to be able to create something that would give a culture boost to Khaleeji culture. She also emphasized the lack of Middle Eastern voice when it came to social messaging platfrms.

“Our lives are brimming with inside jokes and over the top emotions that needed a platform to be expressed.” explains Rasool.

The app is available as an iOS keyboard app along with iMessage stickers and of course, Android users.
