The smartphone launches July 18th in stores.
The world’s first dual-sim 5G smartphone, the Huawei Mate 20 X, is now available for pre-order. This smartphone is the first of its kind to support a non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) 5G network that’s made possible thanks to the 7 nm Balong 5000 chip that’s partnered with equally powerful Kirin 980 chip to deliver the fastest mobile speeds that you can imagine.
Since 5G is being adopted on a faster rate, there are currently two networking methods that are being implemented to make 5G possible. First is Non-standalone (NSA), which is 5G that will be supported by existing 4G infrastructure. The next is Standalone (SA), which will offer more efficiency and is called the true 5G solution. The Mate 20 X will both support these network methods and deliver the expected super-fast 5G speeds.
Aside from the upgraded cellular internals, the Mate 20 X is still the same smartphone launched earlier, with the awesome 7.2-inch OLED display all placed in a beautiful body that’s joined by the triple Leica camera setup. The cameras include a 40-megapixel wide-angle camera, 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and the 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The 4,200 mAh battery also means that you’ll have enough juice to browse, watch and play on the Mate 20 X – even when it’s on a 5G network.
The Huawei Mate 20 X will come in Emerald Green and will be available for pre-order starting July 11th for 3,699 AED. You’re also getting a Huawei Watch GT 2019 with every pre-order. The Mate 20 X will be available in retail and Huawei Experience Stores starting July 18th.
There is a special service offer for UAE residents that includes a VIP hotline, 80066600, where you can call and request for free door-to-door services anywhere in the country. This includes complimentary engraving and other customizations along with device sanitizing.
In Saudi Arabia, the Huawei Mate 20 X (5G) will be available in September at the Huawei Flagship Store in Riyadh Park, Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and ETIHAD Itisalat (Mobily).
