October 29, 2019

The devices were first revealed during IFA 2019.

HMD Global has officially announced the local availability of its new devices, the Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 800 and Nokia 2720 Flip in the UAE. The new smartphones were originally revealed during IFA 2018 a couple of months ago.

The Nokia 7.2 features a 48-megapixel camera with Quad Pixel technology and ZEISS Optics. They’ve also showcased how the camera software gives you more options when shooting images, all part of the camera app on the Nokia 7.2. All-day battery life and a PureDisplay technology round up the features of the smartphone.

The triple-camera-equipped Nokia 6.2 also features a PureDisplay technology with always-on HDR. There’s a seamless finish that runs through the device’s body, and the camera can also take different modes from wide-angle to portrait.

A first for the smartphone line, the Nokia 800 Tough is the first rugged Nokia device. It’s IP68 rated, meaning that its waterproof, dustproof and shockproof. It can even withstand extreme temperatures which should be ideal for users who work in extreme environments.

The popular flip phone is back with the Nokia 2720 Flip. It has dual screens with a dedicated button for Google Assistant. The look may feel retro, but inside there’s 4G connectivity and support for apps like Facebook and WhatsApp.

The Nokia 110, on the other hand, is as simple as it gets – think of it as an advanced MP3 player. It has an FM Radio and even has the classic game Snake pre-loaded.
