HP reinvents the PC

Check out the new HP Spectre Folio.

Dubbed as the world’s first leather convertible PC, the HP Spectre Folio the latest device from the renowned PC manufacturer. HP said that it is reinventing every aspect that you know about PCs, meaning that the HP Spectre Folio is made from the best materials and loaded with software features that will deliver everything you need and more. This 2-in-1 notebook is made for users who multitask and crave productivity.

By listening to the needs of our customers and leveraging our design and engineering capabilities, HP is setting new benchmarks for the industry.”


The HP Spectre Folio features a 100 percent chromed tan and full-grain leather as its exterior. The durable material enables a flexible chassis without making it vulnerable. The HP Spectre Folio will come in two colors: Cognac Brown and Bordeaux Burgundy.

Equipped with one of the smallest motherboards ever put on a notebook, the HP Spectre Folio runs on the latest 8th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors that are cooled down with a new fanless thermal design.

Other specifications include 16 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of SSD storage. You also have the option to choose between a 300-nits full HD display or a low power 1W 400-nits full HD display that is said to be ideal on any lighting condition. A 4K screen is also in the works and will release later this year.

No word yet on local availability but pricing will is said to start at $1,299.99.
