Not sure if you’ll still get Android Q though.
HTC’s been pretty quiet nowadays and while fans of the company are disappointed, the company hasn’t forgotten its users by announcing that its current smartphone lineup will still be getting Android Pie.
Through Twitter, HTC has announced that the U11, U11+ and the U12+ can expect Android Pie to arrive on their smartphones. Expect all the bells and whistles that come with Android Pie as part of the new update, which weighs in at more than 1 GB so be sure to update your smartphone over Wi-Fi.
We wanted to share the status on the Android 9 update. HTC is currently working on ensuring the update is compatible with our phones & we anticipate a release for U11, U11+ & U12+ customers starting Q2’19. Exact timing defers to operators’ availabilities in different countries.

While it’s great that HTC is still showing support for its loyal customers despite the dwindling market share, you can’t help but think how long the company will last considering they used to manufacture some of the best Android smartphones in history.
HTC is now focusing its efforts on VR with its VIVE headset, along with the Exodus 1, the first Blockchain smartphone.
