Huawei’s P30 Lite gets a new 48-megapixel camera
July 21, 2019

The updated version will arrive this week.

Huawei’s P30 Pro is already one of our all-time favorite devices, but the company is adding one more smartphone to the P30 series in the form of the P30 Lite with an upgraded camera option. This new version will add a new 48-megapixel camera that will complete its triple camera setup.

Additionally, the P30 Lite will also come with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The triple camera at the back will include the 48-megapixel sensor which is joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel camera that enables it to collect depth-of-field information so it can take proper portrait shots.

Just like its big brother, the P30 Lite will also have some camera advancements like AI Scene Recognition, Super Slow-mo, Night Mode and even beautification features for the selfie camera.

The P30 Lite is powered by the Kirin 710 CPU and while it isn’t as powerful as the Kirin 980, it’s still fast and efficient enough for everyday tasks. There’s also a 6.15-inch teardrop display that supports a 2312-by-1090 pixel resolution along with a fingerprint scanner. The P30 Lite runs on EMUI 9.0.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

The Huawei P30 Lite 48-megapixel Edition will be available this at all Huawei Flagship Stores and your favorite retailers.
