IFA 2019: Asus debuts the ‘Ultimate Edition’ of the ROG Phone II
September 5, 2019

It features hardware that’s as fast as a PC!

If you think Asus’ ROG Phone II is awesome, wait until you’ve seen the Ultimate Edition of the gaming smartphone. The updated version of the ROG Phone II comes with a crazy 1 TB of storage and even uses UFS 3.0 – meaning that accessing files and playing games will be super fast despite the huge capacity. The smartphone was recently launched at IFA 2018.

1 TB means you can literally install all the mobile games that you want without the worry of slowing down the device. Other upgrades on the ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition includes a new 120 Hz OLED display powered by the new Snapdragon 855 Plus CPU along with a massive 6,000 mAh battery.

The ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition also uses Vapor Chamber cooling that easily dissipates heat so that you can play for longer hours without worrying about overheating. This version of the smartphone also comes in a matte black finish that’s probably the best look it has compared to the first version of the ROG Phone.

Asus quoted an insane 1,199 Euro price for the ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition – that’s about 4,800 AED, which is almost the same price as a mid-range gaming PC.

But the company has proven that they have the audience for devices like these and while there is no news about an international launch, it has been reported that the Asus ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition will only be available directly from Asus.
