The new iPhone launches this September.
We’re months away from another big Apple announcement, this time in the form of the next iPhone which is scheduled this September. As the month approaches, we’re now being treated to various rumors and possible leaks as to what the new device will look like along with the features it will have.
Aside from the usual hardware specifications like an updated A13 chip powering the new smartphone, rumors said that the design will mostly be in the same vein as the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. This could disappoint some fans, who were hoping to see new design since the iPhone X was introduced two years ago. There will also be a standard-sized iPhone 11 and a larger iPhone 11 Max that will be available for customers.
The iPhone 11 would also have three cameras at the back and will have a new square-shaped bump. Rumors said that the bump will be made thin so that it won’t be distracting on the overall design. The front-facing camera of the iPhone 11 will also be upgraded, where analysts say that it will now support slo-mo video recording at 120 fps.
Lastly, the iPhone 11 is likely to include a new and improved Taptic Engine. The new engine is likely an enhanced version that will provide more accurate feedback on and tap or notification, which should ease the transition when Apple is also rumored to remove the 3D Touch function. It will, of course, run iOS 13, and it might also some software features that will only be exclusive to this iPhone. Expect more details to be revealed in the coming months as September comes closer.
