January 15, 2015

Rumors also point to a dual-camera system on the new iPhone.

While Apple is still reeling off the success of the holiday sales last month, rumors have already started concerning what will the next version of the iPhone will be.

Taiwanese media, who have gained information from suppliers, is already reporting that the upcoming iPhone 6S will support a dual camera lens system that may also include an optical zoom. In addition, it was also mentioned that a 3D pressure sensor will also be present – that will work like the Force Touch technology found on the upcoming Apple Watch.

The camera will also be getting a drastic improvement and this includes the ability of the lens to capture more light reaching the sensor that will significantly improve image quality.

Since this is an incremental update (the 3GS, 4S and 5S), expect a similar design to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. There might be a possibility that Apple will ditch the 16 GB version and utilize the 32, 64 and 128 GB versions.
