Codenamed Orbis, it could be announced at MWC 2015

Fuming about the fact that Samsung’s smartwatches still haven’t gone the classic chrono route? According to Sammobile, Samsung is all set to unveil a round faced smartwatch at MWC 2015. The site mentions that it will come with Tizen out of the box, and sites a model number ‘SM-R720′, with a codename ‘Orbis’ for reference.

The site also mentions about a ring operated design that Samsung was working on, and which will probably feature on the Orbis.

2015 seems set to be a happening year in the smartwatch space, with Apple’s iWatch getting into the fray, plus new offerings from Sony, LG and a whole host of new players. At CES this year, Samsung kept a quiet profile on the mobile front. All the more reason to expect a few big announcements at MWC 2015.
