There might a waterproof version of Samsung’s flagship.
While many praised the new design aspects of Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S6/S6 Edge, some were disappointed that the company had to remove the waterproof feature that was present on the Galaxy S5.
Now it seems that Samsung may be producing an ‘Active’ version of the Galaxy S6. If you remember, the Galaxy S4 had an ‘Active’ version that included waterproof capabilities and features a stronger and tougher shell.
A supposedly leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active made its way online and it seems that the design is built to withstand rough conditions. Additionally, the loudspeakers was placed at the back, while the fingerprint sensor seems to have been eliminated due to design changes.
Specifications-wise the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active will still retain the high end hardware featured on the original Galaxy S6: the Exynos 7420, 5.1-inch QHD screen and the 16 megapixel camera.
