With a community made up of 65 million, Truecaller has been verified to be the largest mobile phone community in the world, and it’s now coming to Android Wear.
Truecallers is now one of the first apps to be featured on Android Wear, and it allows users to get calls instantly with contact information. It works easily, too. Users can utilize the app to not only get Live Caller ID, but to also block spam.
Those who already have Truecaller on their Android phones, can automatically have the same information displayed on their wearables.
Android Wear’s integration of Truecaller will allow users to quickly swipe their watch to pick up or dismiss incoming calls and even send text messages. If they need to make calls or just save the caller’s contact details, they may do so with a quick tap.
“With Truecaller for Android Wear, users will be able to tell right away if the person calling you is an acquaintance, business or scammer, all with a simple glance at your wrist,” said Truecaller CEO and Co-Founder Alan Mamedi. “Now, whether you’re driving in your car, or on a treadmill at the gym, you can easily check who’s calling and dismiss calls without ever breaking a stride or having to pull your phone from your pocket. At Truecaller, we’re committed to pushing our innovation to as many different users and platforms as possible…”
The app with Android Wear integration will be out on Google Play for free, and without having to take measures for installing the app on a wearable device, it will do so automatically if the app is already installed on a paired Android phone.
