The Huawei Mate 30 series is all set to be unravelled in two days time on September 19, at an event in Munich. But courtesy Evan Blass, the entire line-up might well have been leaked.
Take the flagship Huawei Mate 30 Pro, and we seem to be confirmed with the much rumoured circular camera module on the rear accompanied by a large ring. Key to this supposedly will be a main 40-megapixel shooter that supports 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, a new 40-megapixel cine camera, an 8-megapixel sensor paired with a 3x telephoto zoom lens, and a dedicated Time-of-Flight sensor for improved bokeh imagery.
Powering the device should be the newly announced Kirin 990 5G, while the 4G variant could also be a possibility on the Mate 30 Lite. 8GB of RAM and 512GB of expandable internal storage apart, a 4,500mAh battery paired with 40W SuperCharge and 27W SuperWirelessCharge technology and an in-screen fingerprint scanner could be incorporated..
In terms of display, we could have a 6.8-inch waterfall display with intriguingly dramatic curved edges on either side. 2400 x 1176p resolution? Wait and watch.
There seems, at least from the renders, a Huawei Mate 30 Porsche Design edition as well. Almost identical to the Mate 30 Pro in terms of hardware, the key difference could well be that the base storage configuration could include 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
All this aside, on to Thursday, the 19th of September in Munich….
