Amazon’s latest e-reader weighs next to nothing.

Even with the advent of tablets, e-readers are still a popular choice for bibliophiles who prefer it to owning a tablet. Amazon’s Kindle line is always the top choice for e-readers, and their latest, the Kindle Oasis, may be the best one yet.

Designed to feel weightless, the Kindle Oasis is 30 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter than previous Kindles, making it look like this e-reader weighs as much as a piece of paper – easy to hold in your hands.

This new Kindle also includes an ergonomic grip that shifts the center of gravity to the palm of your hand so you would literally not feel the weight much like how other e-readers are designed.

It also includes a new dual-battery design where in the cover case for the Kindle Oasis also includes a battery that can charge the device. This cover is included when you purchase the Kindle Oasis.

Just like the previous Kindle, the Oasis features a high-resolution Paperwhite display and now includes 60 percent more LEDs that translates to an even brighter screen.

The Kindle Oasis releases on April 27 and you can pre-order now at www.amazon.com/kindleoasis. Pricing starts at $289.99.
