Michael Kors Runway gets a Wear OS version

August 14, 2018

The popular watch is now a smartwatch.

People familiar with the Michael Kors Runway know that’s actually a traditional watch. To keep up with the times, the company has announced that it has revamped the design of the Runway to make it a smartwatch that runs Wear OS.

The new Michael Kors Runway runs on a Snapdragon Wear 2100 CPU along with a built-in GPS, Bluetooth, a heart rate monitor, NFC for contactless payments and a ‘swimproof’ design. There’s also a 1.2-inch circular display and an all-day battery life.

It will come in different colors and styles, and price will range from $250 to $450 depending on what you choose.

Most of the features will be carried by Wear OS, so users familiar with the platform won’t have to do any adjustments. Wear OS is also compatible with iPhones, though functionality is limited.
