Rumors say that it will also support Android apps.

Unbeknownst to some, Microsoft has released a dual-screen laptop named the Courier nearly a decade ago. This was one of the first instances where companies have considered using dual-screens on notebooks. Fast-forward today, and we now have the technology to do that without any problems.

Which is why there have been rumors going around that Microsoft’s next Surface device will include dual screens. A report from Forbes says that this dual-screen Surface can even foldable with two 9-inch screens running a special version of Windows which is also compatible with Android apps.

Other rumors suggest that this new dual-screen Surface will be powered by Intel’s latest Lakefield SoC that also supports 4G and 5G cellular connectivity. If all goes to plan, you’re looking to see the new Surface devices early next year.

Just last month, Asus introduced the ZenBook Pro Duo which introduced dual 4K screens.
